Outlook calendar and connected apps
Connect your Outlook calendar for Planning, and manage apps that have access to your account.
Connect your Outlook calendar
The calendar connection is part of the Professional subscription and works with Microsoft 365.
With your calendar connected, your Outlook events appear in Planning, and tasks are scheduled straight into your calendar. Yusral only reads and writes calendar items, not your email.
- Go to Profile > Calendar. Under Outlook calendar, it says Not connected.
- Click Connect Outlook and sign in with your Microsoft work account.
- Give permission. After that, it says Connected, with your calendar's address.
To planning → takes you straight to Planning.
Everyone connects their own calendar. People who are not connected stay empty in Planning. Which colleagues see your calendar in Planning depends on their role.
If connecting doesn't work
If you come back without a connection, a message tells you why. The most common reasons:
- You didn't give permission at Microsoft. Try again and give permission there.
- In your organisation, only a Microsoft administrator can give that permission. Ask your IT administrator to approve the connection and then try again.
- You signed in with a personal Microsoft account. Choose your organisation's work or school account.
If the connection stops
- Connection expired: Microsoft asks you to sign in again now and then. Click Reconnect.
- Connection is erroring: you see the error Outlook returned. Try Reconnect. If it keeps going wrong, contact your administrator or us.
Disconnect removes your calendar from Yusral. Your events in Outlook stay, but disappear from Planning until you connect again.
Connected apps
Under Profile > Connected apps are the apps you have given access to your account, such as an AI assistant that works with Yusral through MCP. They work with your permissions, in all your organisations. For each app, you see since when it has been connected and when it was last used. See API and MCP.
Click Revoke connection to take away an app's access. That applies straight away, for all your organisations at once. If you want to use the app again later, you give access again from the app itself.
